Please give an example of a challenge that you have set yourself and describe how you have gone about achieving it.

I have set myself a challenge of improving my entrepreneurial and leadership skills whilst at University. Having a passion for [Sport], I decided to establish an on-campus amateur [Sport] club. I organised an interest group and collected petitions to lobby the university for permission to set up a [Sport] club. I then sat in meetings with various university bodies. Having been granted permission to establish an amateur [Sport] club, I became the president. My victory made me realise that I wanted to become a solicitor because I would get an opportunity to operate in a challenging environment and strive towards constant intellectual and personal improvement.

I am interested in working for a law firm because I enjoy working in a team to solve complex problems that are at the forefront of today’s commerce.
